Forgot about Mighty Boosh!  8)

I'm familiar with Black Books but never seen more than one.

I think the Good Life and Goode Neighbors are the same thing.  Not sure, but there was a name change at one point.

"Yes, Minister" is the best, because true and not just there in some different variety. "Fawlty Towers," Benny n Monty Python. But more recent these guys, who covered C2C

Big "Allo Allo" fan here.  Benny Hill is my idol.  It's not a comedy, but I always liked Granada's Sherlock Holmes series with Jeremy Brett.

Outnumbered was good, particularly when the kids were still young.

Keeping Up Appearances was kind of boring, but I watched it because it was a Britcom. Loved the accents. I saw the actor who played Onslow being interviewed once. It was like day and night. Off camera, he was well dressed and articulate. He came across as educated. It's interesting to see actors as they are in real life as opposed to the roles they play.

To me, Jeremy was always the best Sherlock Holmes. Like Tom Baker will always be the best Dr Who. I haven't wanted to watch the new Dr Who because I am afraid of being disappointed.  :-\

Not familiar with that one. Mostly I saw whatever was on the 2 PBS stations we had.

I forgot about them! I love That Look. SV introduced me to Alan Partridge and Carry On movies. Both very funny.

Yes, those are good.  "The Look" are hilarious. The C2C show (as I call it,) "The Baddies" with the Nazis, the Strong Lager, Heroin for Christmas.

One must mentioned maybe the best British comedian Peter Cook.  This one is hard to explain but he used to call in to a late night radio show when drunk as a persona of a Norwegian missing his wife. So random and bizarre and brilliant.

And this will reduce one to tears laughing:
