Did you ever have a VOX?  I had one long ago. Hated it at first because there were no, Bass, Treble and Middle knobs - just several frequency controls.  I DID however love the smell of that amp as the tubed heated up and would later fall in love with the sound. Fuck I miss that thing       now :(

I had one I bought at a garage sale and got rid of it quickly after that.
Did not like it.
