Wesley Crusher reappeared as an adult with a beard in a scene in the final 2nd season episode of Star Trek Picard  - now he is a time lord and leader of the supervisors like Gary Seven in TOS...

I think the greatest thing Will Wheaton did to salvage his creepy little career was his series of appearances on The Big Bang Theory. He definitely took the game plan from Will Shatner, laugh at yourself..
Eh, nevermind...

I always hated Riker's beard.  Sort of ruined the show for me. And a bald captain with an accent? Meh  :-\

I'm the minority on this, I know.  :-[

I stand with you on this one man.  Bald Captain, tame Klingons, that obnoxious kid and no mini skirts.  Bleech. No thanks.

Star Trek today would be a woke fuckfest. Good thing they've tried to burn the franchise down the last couple of decades.
Eh, nevermind...

A complete and shameless suckfest.  The captain would be gay beyond belief, the science officer would have a beard and be wearing a skirt, and the ship’s doctor would be a clone of Fauci.  Only shorter.

The newer Star Trek Discovery series go way beyond all that.
They even guest starred the Georgia governor loser as "President of Earth"

There was a 1960s mad magazine parody with the name "Star Blechhh!" that seems an appropriate name for the newer series. They don't even have female yeomen for the Captains anymore...

I am so alienated from things I used to really enjoy. I tried to watch old X-Files episodes and all the interest has left the building.

Go woke, go broke.
