Maybe Guitar Center...

https://amp.usatoday.com/amp/6294720002

They should have gone under probably six or seven years ago. Their bean counters made it impossible to do business with them. Somehow they had an algorithm that if something that they paid $200 for had an imaginary book value of $500, they would be losing $100 if I paid $400 for it. Happened time and again, since I wasn't interested in paying full book value, those used instruments would sit for months and months. I would find something else through a private party sale and then, eight months later, they would drop the price to $400.

In a way, they deserve to go out of business.  Tons of people will be unemployed though. Got to admit, some of them will have a tough time finding new jobs.
Eh, nevermind...

When I was a kid I had a damned hard time getting Paul's last name to be Hornung, because I had convinced myself that it was Horning.

I always ended up saying "Horn-ug." I remember seeing it misspelled; I never got over it.

Same thing with the word vomit. There was a book in my youth that showed nature stuff and one picture was of a fly and its "votom" drop.  It's that weird stuff that sticks in the head...

Classic Lasorda (although he's not dead yet, he is old and in the ICU):

Eh, nevermind...

60 is young for an athlete to die, yes? Or was that in metric years or something?

Yes, Diego was 60 and I'm kind of surprised that he made it that long.  He loved food, drink and cocaine, not necessarily in that order.  Still, as so often happens, he was showing improvement in his overall health when he suffered a final, fatal heart attack.  I loved him, and I'm surely going to miss him.

BREAKING: Diego Maradona, widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time, dies aged 60

He was pretty good at soccer, too
