The Hound is back!

DJ Jim Marshall this month is hosting a marathon of his old programs, apparently in sequence going forward from the 1980s on WFMU, on continuous stream at http://thehoundnyc.com .  After that finishes, he's going to do new ones, in addition to hosting new ones of "The Aerial View" by Chris T.

Yes, that's the type of music records The Hound is known for playing.  He was replaced on WFMU by Rex, whose show's similar in spirit, but whose calendar's stuck ca. 1960.

"Aerial View" is on the same stream 6-7 PM Fridays first run, Tuesdays rerun.

Rex + Bill Kelly = The Hound

I mean that both in terms of the records they play & their DJing attitude on-mic.

But Bill Kelly had already been on WFMU afternoon weekends long before, & continues long after, The Hound.
