Found one in my archives that was recorded in 2000. I wrote it in 97 about what is now referred to as Social Media.  Band was called White Knuckle Ride

I do not remember what the joke behind the YEAH! at the beginning and end of the song is about but is but it's there and I cannot undo it and that makes me cringe, but I like the song itself. I sang and played guitar in that band.

@juan  The lead guitar starts shortly after 1:50  Moments of almost going into a 'shred' but then.. not shredding. A more laid back approach. I may redo it as I am unhappy with the climb that leads it out back to the main riff.

NOTE: In our defense - soundcloud completely degradates
the track/music/song that one uploads. What the listener hears is far from the actual quality of the real recording. That said I have a free account there so perhaps that has something to do with it. They have a "pro" option that I suspect preserves the quality of an artists upload.

Song reminds me of Slave To The Grind era Skid Row... which is a good thing to me.

You could upload to YouTube using a static image and get more than double the quality of Soundcloud.
