It's a long, sordid story but I recently became aware that people actually install stomach spigots so they may continue overeating. (thanks @Walks_At_Night  )

No. Really. It's a thing.

The "spigot horse" is Shirl's Speight At 100-1 I'm thinking about putting a Benji down on it. We have a local racetrack here but I think it's closed. I need to find a para-mutual betting place before the weekend.

Ug, one of my worst childhood memories is of seeing a horse die post injection at the flat track. He screamed and reared up, you could totally see the whites of his eyes before he completely collapsed. It was awful. The owner had apparently been giving the horse an IV injection prior to racing and it went very wrong for some reason I have it in my mind he hit an artery but I'm really not sure.
