Thank you. @TigerLily  The avatar is not because he's dead.  I've been a fan of his music.  In fact one of my first avatars on BellGab was this.  Actually it was one with his finger up his nose. Anyway, I've been binging on Hot Rats, Apostrophe, Overnight Sensation, and Joe's Garage the last couple days. I haven't listened to Zappa in quite a while and the mood struck me.

Oh.  by the way, I made you some Chamomile tea.

I went to a Frank Zappa  concert back in the 70's. One of the strangest concerts I've ever been to.

Not only is Baptista Baptista all knowing.  He's also horny.  :D

Lol!  It must have something to do with having the same name twice.

A. D. S. remedies?  Parker Fountain Pens?  Appollo Chocolates?  This druggist certainly had it all.  But what was his name?  If you know, you will win 100 points.

G.W. Billmyer
Robert Gibson
A.M. Gilbert
Ricardo Giusti
R.C. Kilmer
C.R. Owens
W.C. Penske
Jacob Roessner
Chas. M. Steff
Robert Whitacre

Several of those names appear to be from the sports pages, I'll go with

Chas. M. Steff

Zappa is brilliant and ... unique. You do have to be in the mood for him. I groove on his weirdness.
You always make an excellent cup of chamomile, shay. Thanks much. And perfect timing, right as I snuggle in for some ear candy

Nobody picked Mr. Gibson as being the druggist, so no 100 point winners.

Ricardo Giusti....Sounds like the most popular druggist in town.

@PolkaDot: 25 points

Only Dot managed to pick a name that wasn't from 100 years ago, so she picks up 25 points.  I thank you for playing Dot, and Ricardo Giusti thanks you for having picked him.

From the Library of Congress, 1921.

                 What Will Mrs. Thompson Say?

Mrs. Thompson gave me the answer to one of her letters but she didn't give me the person's question.  Not that it matters because all you have to do is fill in the blanks and get 25 points for each correct word.  Please note, the first two blanks are the letter writer's initials.  The correct initials will win you 50 points for each correct one.

"(Blank). (Blank).":  The following is a
(blank) lotion:  (Blank), powdered,
70 grams;  (Blank) milk (thick) 1 and 1/2
ounces;  (Blank)water, 6 ounces.
Dissolve the powdered (blank) in the (blank)-
water, then pour gradually into the
(blank) milk, with constant (blank).
Apply with a soft (blank) cloth
every night before (blank).

There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.
