Having been stationed in Plattsburgh for 4 years it cracks me up to see what people from NYC consider to be upstate.  Geez. At least get north of Albany.

Nah. Once you get past the near suburbs north of the city, to a city person, you're "upstate." The Catskills barely make it, but they're not a suburb, so... beautiful there, btw, went to summer camp there many eons ago.  ;)

That clip is from a particularly horrible song, topically. Wouldn't ever write anything like that again. A pogo stick is a equally horrific thing.
