I'm hoping this thread develops into sort of a wine bar, coffeehouse, discussion site. A place with no agenda. We can hangout and discuss and meander anywhere we want.  All topics covered in any other thread or totally new thoughts and ideas. Like friends who run into each other and just catch up on anything and everything. Gossip, questions, experiences. Art, Science, the Paranormal, the Normal. Your day. Deep philosophy to giggling at the absurd. And being absurd ourselves. Grab your favorite beverage. Settle into a comfy chair and chat. About whatever

Any thoughts? Good idea? Bad idea? Stupid idea? Waddaya guys think? I'll check back later to see if there is any interest

rest

Does Hillbilly Jim record his conquests?  The monetization could be epic.

Eeeww.  Not that I know of.   Although he did fly out west once to tap on some porn chick. Maybe a vid was part of that kind of deal.
I can ask him when he gets back from the 'Nam....................

Does that mean instead of war flashbacks, he zones out with sex flashbacks?

Good.
Your production has been way down ever since you cursed that thread with your 10k nonsense.

Well it sure worked out that eway, didn't it?   :-[

Not sure how to fix its mojo at this point..............................

Pork and sauerkraut in the Crock Pot, plus buttered corn and mashed potatoes for New Years dinner.  Thankfully I'm not making it.  :D  Mom is.  However I will contribute a peach cobbler.  Hope all of your New Years dinners, etc, are (were) great.  :)   Cheers everyone! 8)
This is a perfect meal for the Eve. You should not eat certain things that move backwards on New Year's Eve. You try to avoid setbacks for the new year.
I did not eat any crabs or chickens on the Eve.
Cheers.

This was the first New Year's that I hadn't been pressured into eating some stupid superstitious/traditional crap on NYD.

It was a relief.
@sean92008
I followed a few New Year’s superstitions and folklore yesterday.
1-Don’t wash those clothes.
2- Right food.
3- Make some noise.
4- Save sweeping for Jan. 2.
5- Keep it in. (Don’t take anything out of your home on New Year’s Day.)
HAPPY 2020

On the way back from Port Aransas we stopped at the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge to see if we could get a sighting of some of the whooping cranes that winter there.  The whooping crane conservation effort is somewhat of a success story so far. In 1941 there were less than 20 birds in the wild.  When I moved back to Texas in 1982 there were about 70.  Now I think the number that winters here is about 500.

I got to watch 2 of them feeding for about an hour when I got tired of standing in the rain.

Sorry for the poor resolution. All I had was my iphone and they were about 200 yards away.

That’s a white pelican flying past.

Very cool!

You reminded me of a traumatic tradition.

Racist.

Yes, blasphemy.
That's the spirit!
There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

Has there been anything noteworthy out of DDD lately? Haven't followed or seen any updates recently

@Pizzapunch    Well he has turned on two of his staunchest supporters - Rose Dio and Pavel Eduard.  He claims they were sleeper agents sent by the enigmatic Michael Aquino to infiltrate Team Dietrich.  Both have been cast out and ruthlessly attacked - almost to the levels that he attacks Gunner65.    As you can see, Rose Dio took her exile well

Also, Peter Moon of The Montauk Project fame has taken a shine to Dietrich and has joined forces with him.  Only God and perhaps Gunner65, know why..................
