This was taken during cherry blossom season in Yokohama.

This was one that stuck with me. This is from the Atomic Bomb Memorial Museum in Nagasaki. The books at the end are filled with the names of the dead from the Nagasaki bombing.

Beautiful photo of the cherry tree and pond. Yokohama, sister city to San Diego. I love that! I spent 2 1/2 days in Japan and was amazed at the artistry everywhere

How do you celebrate? You sit under a cherry blossom tree with family/friends. Share a little meal and remember we all going to D I E--so have some fun.
I enjoyed viewing the Kawaii fashions during the festival.  I did not take photos of the cute people. That would be rude.
