There is this room on the main floor of the new place. It's a 12'6 - 15'6 bonus room with windows to the side road and windows to the street (corner lot) After much discussion over what to make of this space we have decided to make it a sort of theme room. Old distressed wood floors, walls, and yes, the ceiling which is 10' high so I will also install a few decorative 4-6" beams up there. This will be a cigar and whiskey room complete with suitable lounge chairs and other nice things. Going to pack as much character in that space as we can. It should be a very Christmassy room too.

Loooove doing renos. Gonna be nice.

See!? You're already there!    You got it! Splinters and all!  Oily looking wood, and that wood smell... as the cigar scent soaks into it over time.  Some old hardcover books might go well in there. Real beat up shit..  Maybe I'll kill a chicken in there too.

Getting all kinds of ideas now. Perhaps when The She is away on business it will be my kill room! Like Dexter!  You should take a northern drive.. we'll kill folks. @sean92008 !

Neon?  LEDon...  Maybe too much. Prohibition-era wouldn't be too bright.

It's a theme room and we're both in agreeance, although she doesn't drink whiskey or smoke cigars, so..    I want the carpet oot o' my studio. Wood! It's the wood that makes it good!
