This could have been a real interesting bout but it kind of fizzled.

This video, and @KSM's recent report that one of his old friend's dogs had fallen through thin ice makes me think about how irresponsible some pet owners are.  Once domesticated, letting a dog run in dangerous parts nature is not always smart. Dogs are as smart as a toddler, would you let a toddler without shoes run loose there?

Yeah, some people think of dogs as property, tools or a controllable living being (so they feel like a god)... My point of view is they're family.

Wasn't it Ghandi who said "you can tell a lot about a society by how they treat their animals" (paraphrased)?"
Eh, nevermind...

It was Ghandi who said.. pretty much what you said he may have said.  :D

To your point - I know people who would save a dog before a toddler.  :-\

I once saved Henry from the very same river when conditions were warm. The fat fucker went down the embankment and could not get himself back up. He gave me a look as if to say.. "Eh boss, I think I may have fucked myself down here"

Yep.

“The greatest robbery on record was of the German National Gold Reserves in Bavaria by a combine of US Military personnel and German civilians in June 1945, A total of 730 gold bars valued at £3,528,000 together with six sacks of banks notes and 25 boxes of platinum bars and precious stones disappeared in transit but none of those responsible has been brought to trial.”

It was this entry that inspired British film and television writer Troy Kennedy Martin to write the screenplay for what became the film “Kelly’s Heroes.”

Great movie.  :)

The phrase: "Doesn't know whether to shit or go blind" comes into play here.

Waiting for this thing to arrive today between 10 and 2 pm  ::)  My God, the shipping for this cost was bloody ridiculous. That said it weighs many stones so high shipping cost is to be expected but one reserves the right to bitch about it.  I expect it will take between 3 - 6 hours to put together.  This will be a great opportunity to throw on a classic Art Bell show or two and get in the zone as I assemble, assemble, assemble.

That's a weird looking sex machine.  ;D  That thing weighs 320 pounds!  No wonder the shipping cost was ridiculous.  Man, you'll put that thing together in an hour.  I have faith in you.  :D
