i prefer used motor oil myself. works as well as roundup for killing weeds. less toxic on pets and so forth.

In the neighborhood I grew up in, there was this grumpy old guy that would dump all his used motor oil and transmission fluid on the gravel road to keep the dust down. We avoided his street on our bikes just because of the baked petrochemical smell alone.

They use something less toxic but ultimately self-defeating these days - magnesium chloride and water.

Sometime around 1996.
A young Bart was stuck flying across the country overnight.
I couldn't sleep in a bus so I would scan the stations.
I found C2C but lost the station after about 40 minutes.
Every hour or so I would have to scan the stations again but I would end up finding his show on another station.
I don't remember ever not being able to find the show.
