Nick Rugburn talking Mothman up...

Strangely, he's referring to a type of dream people are experiencing... I had a similar dream nearly 50 years ago...  Weird.

Argh.

Got a real chuckle out of the caller "Sergi" who told Knapp and Redfern about mentally calling in a UFO and communicating with the aliens telepathically. The best part was being hauled in by the police for questioning about his interactions with aliens, then going home to find out his house was gone....as if it never existed.

Amazes me these Mothman guys inevitably talk about MiBs, but never mention they were "invented" by Grey Barker.  Barker was the "clown prince of ufology," a prolific writer on the topic in the 50s-60s.  He never believed in UFOs himself, and was a renowned practical joker.   He came up with the MiB concept to prank his friend John Keel.  Keel bought it hook, line, and sinker, and the MiB legend was born.

One of Knapp's guests last night was a MUFON guy hawking a book he's written to educate first responders on how to deal with aliens and their craft.  With Knapp, he spent a lot of time talking about hostile contact.  Specifically he said humans should never draw a weapon on them, or even shine a powerful flashlight at them, lest they become alarmed and  defend themselves with dire consequence for the persons involved.

So are we to believe a race advanced enough to build craft cubic miles large and travel across space and/or time are afraid of some yahoo with a Maglite?

My plan was to start playing a George Noory C2C show, but hearing that - that may not be such a great idea either.

I was on hold wanting to talk to Ken Womack about my recently deceased friend's involvement in his biography of The Beatles right hand man, Mal Evans.

They didn't put me on. They put a call about some old bag who went to a show and a guy who learned a Beatles song on accordion. Christ. I could have contributed.  Not C2C, noooo. Sad pack mentality.
Eh, nevermind...

As I recall she had like five points that she wanted to make and she was just so full of shit and spewing projectile diarrhea all over the show. I'm surprised the guy even responded to her and even more surprised that George Knapp didn't cut her off.

Eh, nevermind...

Yep she always has long 3 part questions and warns them to take notes since she hangs up and listens on the radio so can't repeat it.

Last night's second guest's story of a UFO crash/debris in Wales was interesting to me.  The guest explained he had made a documentary on the incident back in 2008, and the alleged debris was shown in the film.  With that, off to YouTube where I found this:

i=IcRg8ascig09Ycz-

If you have an hour of your life to spare, you need to watch this film.  The opening and closing credits are very lengthy, with space scenes/images that reminded of me MST3K.  Turns out the guy from last night is the featured presenter, and he's a peach.  He runs around the UK countryside "investigating" while wearing what can only be described as what you'd expect one of the Three Musketeers to have worn.....complete with jaunty hat.  For the indoor interview shots, he has an obviously practiced "in awe of it all" expression which I think might be to insure us of his sincerity and forthrightness.

The best part of this epic is the soundtrack.  It sounds like it was done by a third-rate prog metal band doing a concept album on the works of Tolkien.  Great stoner music.  The editing of the soundtrack is comically bad, with music bleeding in and out of conversations.  Also a few somewhat extended scenes of nothing but the local areas, with accompanying music that would have been better suited to a fantasy movie than this gem.

Oh, and yes they do show a few different pieces of the alleged crashed UFO.  It was kinda anticlimactic, however, as nothing I saw looked all that different than pieces I've seen/recovered from aircraft crash sites over the years.

The last time George Knapp hosted C2CAM was December 17th.  This coming weekend's line up doesn't feature Knapp as the Sunday host.   :(

Has anyone heard if the other weekend hosts have mentioned when Knapp will be back on?
