Have no fear, Brett Kulak to the rescue!

;D haha Kulak played ok today.
But it doesn't take much to outshine some of the defenders the Habs are throwing out there these days.

Alzner's career looks over. I am really surprised they have not bought him out yet. It would be a tough pill to swallow after signing him to that contract, but the way he is playing right now he's not cut out for today's NHL.

It may be a long shot but I still think Simon Depres could play on the 3rd pair.

Kulak was actually pretty damn good today.
Alzner will probably be in Laval by Tuesday... unless Brian Burke gets a job before then and needs more truculence on his blueline.
I think Despres blew his chance when he wasn't willing to go to Laval.

+1 for the proper use of truculence in a sentence.
Are we having fun yet?

Credit Brian Burke for using it every day for about 4 years.

The Bart influence is far and wide. At tonight's Jacksonville Icemen vs. Greenville Swamp Rabbits hockey game, after sitting down, this is the goalie we see for the opposing Swamp Rabbits team during warmup:

Hey @MaxPower how you like them overall standings?  ;)
Icemen have 2 games in hand but hey not a bad start for a new Growlers team. Ruff rufffff!!

I like that ECHL teams have less of a roster size and usually go with 10 forwards and 6 defense.

The Icemen have a player whose name is "Wacey Rabbit"  ;D Good one.

Since we lost tonight, now 12 - 6, we went from 3rd to 5th, but for a relatively new team the Icemen are doing well. The Growlers are looking very good.

The Icemen played poorly the first period and part of the second period tonight, trailing 4 to 0 and I thought the game was over. They made a great comeback, almost tied it up at the last second of the final buzzer, and lost 4 to 5, one of the higher scoring games they played this year.

Everybody likes Wacey Rabbit here. One of the persons I went with tonight thought the plentiful signs in the stands that read "Rabbit Season" was for Wacey, but the signs were actually about it being "rabbit season", as in hunting, on the opposing team, the Swamp Rabbits  :D

No, but I cut him some slack because his daughters are hot.
I don't always agree with his view but I can appreciate his willingness to share his contrarian opinion and oh yeah his daughters are hot  ;D

Right again Bartstradamus!
I can't take much credit for this one, it was pretty obvious it would be the move to make room for Weber.
