My hairy balls plants.  Monarchs love them.  When they have set seeds, I like to invite people to look at my balls and give them a squeeze.

Witnessing any semblance of decency, or reciprocation of common courtesy makes me happy.

That sounds like you. Nice

Agreed. Before I built a six ft privacy fence around my entire city lot all the flowers, green grass and lawn ornaments were visible to anybody walking by the house. Always liked it when little old ladies (and men) would stop to tell us how we've outdone ourselves again with the yard.  That's the only regret I have about the tall fence..

I also  enjoy a well maintained landscape...kind of an oasis from all the hubbub. NO PINK FLAMINGOS THOUGH!

Chris Robinson Brotherhood does a nice cover of Watching The Wheels that I've posted in the music thread if you're interested. It might be nice to read how a John Lennon fan thinks it stacks up to the original...whicht I cannot find on the youtubes, sadly

+1 The Salvation Army is one of the few charities that is actually focused on helping people. Well organized and efficient with donations. One of the few national charities I donate to.
