Wrapping Christmas Gifts. Can't do It!
« on: November 11, 2019, 07:35:27 PM »
Yeah, still November. But you're going to be wrapping gifts soon enough. Right?  I suck at it and should I happen to luck out and get it right, it's a fluke. And it's a rare fluke. One of the items I bought my weef this year is an inversion table and it has come in this really big box. I have to keep it in the man-cave until the tree is set up. I had no idea. And I have no idea on how to go about wrapping this gift in a respectable and presentable way.  Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Spray paint it green and slap a bow on it.
Problem solved.

I don't know where you are, but I have gotten giant wrapping paper at Sam's Club or Costco.
Or this, going around a few times?

Annie, I have both places. So you're saying I have to lug this thing to a G-damn store to get this done?  And THEN, I have to get it back in the house without tearing the wrapping up..  if it comes down to that, I will do it. But I won't be in a Christmassy mood afterwards.

Bart, that is not an option.  Yet.

That can't hurt. Search on gift wrapping services in your area. You can have it done and then not only get points for picking out a great gift, but you can claim you wrapped it yourself as well.
Diamonds are very easy to wrap.

Kraft paper or bulletin board paper, big bow.
There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

Is that glittery? Glitter would help.

Return the inversion table. She can always do the Shirshasana yoga pose. Get her a cat instead. And the diamond

Just glue some left over stock from your next job to it.  Nothing says Merry Christmas like engineered bamboo scraps.

I would use some rope around it.
