That makes sense. The go to band instrument guy in this area plays in one of my groups. I give him my surplus music stuff and he finds some school that can use it.
I made a deal with a vintage gear rental company to rent out all the outboard gear I was getting rid of.
I have made about 5X what I would have sold them for so far.
It runs for another 8 months and at that point they can buy it all at my original asking price and they already told me they will be doing that.
I was fixing up cheap guitars and donating them to various music programs but haven't had any time lately so I have around 10 half finished guitars waiting for me to get to them.
