Did you see any strange things while you were there?

Not really.  Some noises now and then, but I am sure they were jack rabbits moving through the brush.
Even a fish wouldn't get into trouble if it kept its mouth shut.

Time traveling...

Hey! A small bobcat hissed at me the other night and streaked across the side lawn towards the lake at 1 am when I was taking the garbage and recycling out. I think I startled it when I started to wheel the containers out to the curb. I know it startled me!

Does that qualify me to be a guest on HW's show?  Asking for a friend...  ;D

Ah, thank you, I stand corrected about that. But machines like that were used for other medical purposes back then. +1

Not bypass. Dialysis *sounds* like something like it,  however, you can't simply go have that. You have to have a vein and artery joined by a graft for the access or a port placed abdominally...

Spot the following:

Lady Gaga
Thieves
And while Lady Gaga could be called a thief, plagiarist would be better suited for it.

Maybe the source heard it said but not a true thing.

They said they were peripherally involved. However, it's a long time ago, and I have long since lost track of said source. Sigh. No matter, really, we have more important drama to witness these days! I think...  ;)

Thank you, @Kwisatz Haderach! Your timing is exquisite, you must be psychic! Perhaps you should be on HW's show as a guest!  ;D

I just went out the front door a few minutes ago to liberate a rather large palmetto bug who tried to take up residence in the bathroom near the bathtub drain, from which it may possibly have emerged. I opened the front door carrying the plastic container with the bug in it, walked a bit down the front path, and... I got hissed at again, this time from the left of the front of the house! It startled me again, but I didn't see anything this time.

I think we have a new visitor in the neighborhood at night the last few days. And I suspect it is more scared of us with our flashlights and the noise we make than we are of it, but still it's good to be aware.

If I hear it again I may have to dig out my field camera and leave it out overnight to see if I can catch whatever it is on night-vision video. We were successful at solving the mystery a few years ago as to why the just-filled bird feeders out back were totally empty in the morning... only to find on the videos that a family of deer (Dad, Mon, two young deer) were happily helping themselves to all the birdseed! Knocking the feeders and also licking all the seed out, the wily critters!

Bobcats are not unknown around here, just not so common around the houses, usually they hang out on the golf courses at night where it's darker and quieter... and no humans around.

+1, SIR!

I'm out of my depth here! Sorry, it was a long time ago, and perhaps I should now be disillusioned at the absolute reliability of my old source! Live and learn, eh? +1

Yeah. I hear she presses her knees together reading Miller's musings.

She'll take any adoration she can get, even if nutso.
pressing her knees together?  What does that mean.  Mrs. Haderach does that whenever she watches Orlando Bloom on TV.  Should I be worried?

Heather the narcissist borderline personality disorder host will be babbling out of control as Winter Laake the gipsy will guide Art into the cuckshack tonight for an all nighter. There may/will be talk of suicide and ghostly tweakers. Not sure if I can stomach this bullshit tonight but I am addicted to the Meltdowns though she doesn't see it is a problem for Art's number 1 pick to make a complete ass out of herself.. And here we goooo!!!

Holy Moly!  Your gas prices are outrageous.  Just filled up 3 vehicles tonight at 2.29 per gallon regular unleaded.  You are 3 dollars more per gallon.  California legislators must really hate the citizens.
