The town just brought in a pump and pumped out the street. I moved my truck out. I am in like Flint now.
I'm glad that system fell apart before coming on shore.  That being said, I understand you still have some serious flooding.  Stay safe and dry, my friend. ;)

Local news says there is a 70% chance of it reforming into at least a tropical storm before it gets here.
Are we having fun yet?

We are going to get the rains one way or another. The only difference will be the height of the storm surge and the winds.

Did they pump the water to Flint, Michigan?
I am confused.

At the risk of being zooefied, you need to keep up. @Walks_At_Night is plugged up and my street flooded.

I know.
Flint, Michigan has bad water.
Pumped flood waters would be an improvement.
Boom!

Well in my first storm in NC that I experienced I learned a valuable lesson.   They have these skinny-ass Virginia Slim looking things here that they call
pine trees and all kinds of different hard woods.  I didn't think anything would bother some of these big strong Oaks but they blew over as the ground around them softened from all the rain.  The skinny pines just kind of swayed like a hula skirt and came thru pretty much okay.   Classic bend but don't break.
There must be a Charlie Chan saying essentially the same thing about 'bend not break.' Good luck.
