Because we didn’t celebrate Xmas in my house when I was young it had no particular sense memory for me, so the music didn’t really mean anything.

Than I went to Vegas the week before Xmas. Downtown was a cacophony of carols and general Xmas music. Now I associate Xmas music with Vegas and it brings back excellent sense memories!

I can imagine it is horrendous for people who work in places that play it from September onwards.

There are a few songs I could listen to any time of the year.  Songs like Do you hear what I hear and Little drummer boy are two of them. 

Jingle Bells and Santa Clause is coming to town shouldn’t be played until after Christmas.

As a musician, I am usually rehearsing Christmas music with my amateur groups by this time of year. As I rarely go to Lowe’s thy can play whatever they want.

lol. Better than a one-horse open sleigh. In my neck of the woods as a kid we would wrap tumbleweeds in old white bedsheets to make snowmen. I can't tell you how many times I've done last minute Christmas shopping in shorts and flip flops
