Looks like they're still guarding it, darn it.  We don't have Claim Jumpers up north; this is the first I've heard of them.  Sounds nice.

I tried to listen last night even though Connie Willis was hosting.  I don't think I made it 30 minutes.  Her incessant chuckling and giggling throughout the show grates on my nerves.  She started laughing for no reason and I turned it off.

I guess her giggle is analogous to Snoory's inappropriate interjections of the word "classic."  Fills time, feigns involvement and interaction while not paying full attention.

By posting this, I am admitting to a grievous error in my life...

While showering, I had Coast to Coast AM on this evening.

I heard a supposedly 66-year-old lady who sounded more like 96 years old with a weird voice inflection issue who sounded like Thomas from La Jolla putting on this granny voice.

Other than sounding like Thomas would if he were imitating an old lady, the voice inflection was repeated and very, very fake. The affectation was almost like that Christine Blasey Ford during the Kavanaugh hearings, trying to sound innocent.

Something else, this Roberta spoke in the same way Thomas does and seemed rather well-read on what her question or statement was.

The dude is getting paid to be a professional caller for this show I wonder if he gets extra $$$ if he puts on the fake voices.

Maybe it was Norry.  For amusement maybe he does voice imitations and calls himself, records himself for the show, and plays it on primetime Coast.  He gets the caller, and he does not have to pay out a dime.  A conversation with Norry, from Norry.
