Noory at the top of his mundane obtuse game tonight. He has a guest, old guy as most of Coast's guests are, who is critical of the Climate Change orthodoxy. I haven't looked him up but he sounds like he is a legit scientist. The subject matter like most are is way over Noory's head and he's done absolutely no preparation for the interview so Noory does what he always does, stammers out a series of childlike questions that leave the guest wondering if this is some elaborate practical joke.
Noory: Peter how did you get interested in this?
Peter: (long answer, Noory of course doesn't listen so immediately follows up with pretty much the same question)
Noory: Peter when you were a little boy did you think about the weather and climate a lot?
Peter: (Peter goes through his long academic and career history, his degree is in geophysics)
Noory: Peter have you seen moon rocks?
Peter: (complete silence, the non-sequitur has left him completely speechless. No answer comes so Noory awkwardly attempts to save the conversation)
Noory: That would be fantastic, it really would.
Peter: (silence)
Noory: Peter would you recommend young people go into geophysics?
