... It's Minnie Mouse, not Mini Mouse you idiot...

I wish I could remember the exact quote - George once said something along the lines that all possible good songs had already been written, that there really weren't any more that could be written.

If only that were so for Nooryisms, a never ending fountain of dumb.

This might be a stupid question, but I'm going to ask it anyway. I seldom listen when Connie Willis is on, but is she the same person as the science fiction novelist Connie Willis?
Connie actually discussed this last weekend and pointed out that the "other" Connie Willis is a man!

Still not the 'Connie Willis' we were looking for...

Note the outstanding trigger discipline. The 'booger hook' is neatly presented away from the bang switch.

The first guest tonight was talking about Lyme disease and what her and her husband went through after contracting the tick born illness.  They both suffered for months as the condition worsened.  She described all the symptoms they had and how they could barely function.

I don't even think it was 30 minutes later when George asked her if Lyme disease makes people miserable.  No George.  Anyone who is sick is absolutely ecstatic about it.   ::)

Later, I also heard him say something about dropping ticks from an airplane from 30,00 feet.  He wondered if they'd survive.

As God is my witness, I thought ticks could fly.
Merry Christmas

She also had to explain that ticks drink the blood.

I expect that type of ignorance out of a small child or an oldie with Alzheimer's.
Eh, nevermind...

Nothing surprises me from someone who could come up with this.

I think it's time for someone to plop down a statue in honor of George.  Maybe in front of his favorite 7-11?  I'm thinking something along the lines of Rodin's The Thinker.

Art Bell's biggest regret was his comment about George, "He gets it"

LOL.  Here’s an oldie Snorge classic quote.

George: "It would be great if Saddam just left Iraq, don't you think?"

Hal: "Yes, but he's not going to do that. Like last time, he's going to put his citizens in harm's way, use them as human shields, and wreak destruction on the oil fields."

George: "That's kind of selfish, isn't it?"

Art Bell's biggest regret was his comment about George, "He gets it"

Only because he was savaged for it.  All the times he bailed on his shows, he made zero attempt to find a competent replacement (Mike Seagull, Goerge Noory, Heater Something).

I never listened to Dreamland, so have no idea how Weeber was, but I can't stand him a s a guest, so add him to the list.

Well, now you're just needlessly abusing the thread reader.

That was effing  painful. Heh heh. "Deep hurting" as the MST3K Mads would say.
