That article describes Bill as an amateur astronomer - so definitely its him and he was same age as Noory!
But he died a year ago - Noory should have done a tribute last year!
By the way Bill was also a regular caller to Clyde Lewis on his show too.

Yep.  I remember getting a big laugh one time when Clyde got pissed of at Bill for always doing his ridiculous AAA intro.  Clyde really let him have it, including telling him nobody cared about Bill’s spiel.

As a lifelong talk radio listener it's sad when long time callers die. I went to the funeral of an old guy named Jack who was a daily caller to a sport radio talk show I listened to from my teens to mid 30's. Never met him in person, bunch of other listeners also showed up.

When hosts die it's sad too but they usually die after retiring. Rush died with his boots on.
