Noory held his guest tonight Whitley Streiber over for 3 hours total.
Leaving only one half hour segment for Friday open lines skince he leaves early and goes to an old replay of part of an interview for the last part.

Wow.  Didn't listen (again) to the show as I fell asleep, but was considering listening when I saw Strieber was the guest.  Though he's never been one of my favorites, he is one of the relatively few legacy guests left.  I am shocked Noory actually held him for three hours.  When's the last time that happened on any Noory show?

I think it was because last night Noory got thru the first two hours without any callers for Whitley, so he had to hold him over an extra hour to get some callers for him.  Whitley didn't mind staying longer/later since he was just on to promote his new book anyway.  It was kinda funny that many of the callers (non regulars) to Whitley often mentioned they listened to him with Art Bell, not Noory, in the past - that must have made Noory feeling odd.

That however left only one half-hour segment of regular open lines since Noory always leaves a half hour early on Friday nights.
The regular sad pack callers were the only ones in that that half-hour of open lines including Mike the Millenial, Cornelius, etc.

...  Whitley didn't mind staying longer/later since he was just on to promote his new book anyway...

That, and he figures the greys wouldn't be so gauche as to probe him while he's on live radio.

I set a new record, I deleted all five nights of recorded C2C (M-F) shows from this week without listening to them.  Worst show guest/topic grouping of all time. Previous record was deleting all but two guests in five nights.

Last night's second guest was a Hollywood promotions guy turned UFO novelist.   His book sounds like a Progressive's wet dream.....Oprah Winfrey is PotUS, the aliens show up and get rid of all nuclear weapons and guns, they provide free energy, solve climate change, and end world hunger.

Getting me started on auto repair is dangerous. 

My OEM windshield replacement and optical recalibration...  $1,800. Getting my insurance to pay for it will be a challenge.

Is George sounding more confused now that there's a writer's strike?  An LA news/entertainment show host said that his writer is on strike.

Noory snuck out a half hour early tonight even though its Thursday. 
He will probably do the same again tomorrow too.
