Did you ever watch Orphan Black?

Well, actually, no. Heard of it. On the surface it sounds like a homeless, parentless black kid.  So now I'll look it up..

Ok. After searching it I see that it is/was a Canadian series. No wonder it sounded familiar. Won some awards.. Hmm. Canada has put out some pretty watchable stuff in the last 20 or so years (Corner Gas being my favorite) so I'll take a closer look at this Orphan Black @GravitySucks Have you watched it? And how on Earth did you even know about it?

In 2018 I was pretty sick for awhile and was looking for entertainment. I stumbled on it. One season gets really weird but I thought the woman that starred in it did a terrific  job playing a bunch of different roles.

The 100 is another Canadian series I binged watched back then. In fact I think the last season I still need to watch sometime.

Falling Skies was decent. Dark Matter was ok but it got canceled. Mr Robot held my attention.

Bosch is based on the novels of Michael Connelly featuring LA homicide detective Harry Bosch.  I think there have been seven seasons.  I recommend it.

OK @JUAN just watched a few clips. Sold! And it's on prime so essentially I already have it to watch.

The first 2 seasons of Succession were excellent. The third was hot garbage.

BOSCH is pretty good. I like the guy who plays him.

I have yet to watch The Sopranos. I have it. Just haven't taken the plunge because I feel like it's a big commitment.

If you old farts want something that's not, like a million years old, try Kleo (Netflix). It's pretty good so far.

I know you like a good miniseries. Try Inside Man. David Tucci is great in it. It's only four episodes.

If you old farts want something that's not, like a million years old, try Kleo (Netflix). It's pretty good so far.

Or if you do want something rather elderly, The Bob Newhart Show is available on Amazon Prime.  Great chance to sharpen your drinking skills with a game of Hi Bob while watching. Big gulp of cheap beer for every "Bob" and you shotgun a can for every "Hi Bob!".  To mix things up, you can blow up your buddy on occasion too.

I know you like a good miniseries. Try Inside Man. David Tucci is great in it. It's only four episodes.

Steven Moffat is a familiar name. I think I remember him because he worked with Dawn French. Googling it, he worked on Murder Most Horrid (a series I really enjoyed).

He's also got a ton of Doctor Who credits.

That pedigree alone will be worth a look-see.
