Obviously Falkie wasn’t on that work crew or they would have left him there.

Ten points for every correctly filled in blank.[/size][/b]

The boy should not have smoked when you asked him not to.  It seems to me he is rather young to begin bad habits.  Probably he thinks that smoking is ("adult,") and if he does, he will go further and consider other bad habits ("adult.") I think you should drop him if he continues to (ignore) your request. At your age you should be very careful not to go with a young (man) who is (creating) for himself a reputation of being ("Boraxy.")

She’s certainly been getting a lot of answers wrong lately.

Thanks for sharing @Rikki Gins .
I enjoy learning something new.
"The blast killed thirty people immediately, and another ten died later of wounds sustained in the blast. There were 143 seriously injured, and the total number of injured was in the hundreds."

She understands, @FISH.  Perhaps the low scores on the 'what will she say' contests are due to the fact that yours truly has been handling her column for the past few weeks.  Yes, I have been traveling back and forth to the Mrs. Thompson office, gathering her mail, finding good questions to answer and typing the answers out on her cool but antiquated typewriter.  But where is Mrs. Thompson, you ask?  Well, I believe she is in New Jersey, assisting in the campaign for her boss, who I think, is running for governor.  Actually, her bosses' wife is running the campaign, and you would like her, FISH.  She is very strong willed, opinionated, and has fiery red hair.  And before you ask, she and I got along famously the one time that we met.
