The last time George Knapp hosted C2CAM was December 17th.  This coming weekend's line up doesn't feature Knapp as the Sunday host.   :(

Has anyone heard if the other weekend hosts have mentioned when Knapp will be back on?

gknapp@8NewsNow.com

I sent an email, wouldn't hurt if you did too. Maybe one of us will get breaking news...

(TBH, he hasn't been looking good for a while... Maybe decades of too much sun.)
Eh, nevermind...

Another weekend without Knapp in the Sunday lineup.  :'(
I hope he's ok and this is just a recent scheduling conflict.   Hopefully there wasn't a C2CAM contract renewal problem for 2024.

Yep Knapp didn't host in Jan but the first Sun of each month is always hosted by Noory.
Knapp usually only hosts the 3rd and 4th Sundays so we have to wait a couple weeks yet to see if he hosts this month.
He still has been posting on his Twitter this past month too.

Knapp mentioned at the start of his show tonight that he got lots of messages asking why he was not hosting last month.
He said it was that he was out of town on assignment and unable to do his regular Sunday hosting nights in Jan, but is back for this month.

Not sure if it's failures on the part of a producer, lack of preparation on his part, or if age is catching up with him, but over the past year or so Knapp is often corrected by guests relative to his comments/questions. Wood corrected him last night on a couple minor errors, but the second guest seemed perplexed with Knapp's question about Hemingway's investigation of UFOs.  She was most gracious, but it was pretty obvious he'd screwed the pooch about something he thought she'd said/written about him.

Did @DaveSchrader lose his big voice or did his phone filter all his resonance out?

New book out. Shockingly , not a tell-all about MitD.

Knapp's first guest last night was Paul Hynek, son of former UFO investigator J. Allen Hynk. I'm really disappointed I didn't look to see who the guests were last night.  Had I known Hynek was going to be on, I'd have listened real time and called in to ask him a question I've wanted to ask for almost five years.

The son was a consultant on the History Channel's god awful "Project Blue Book" series from 2019-2020. In the series his Mom was depicted as someone who maybe drank a little too much and had a lesbian fling with a female Russian spy.  I'd love to ask him how does he think his parents would have felt about her characterization, and if he made any attempt while working on the series to not have her characterized as a lush who bumped donuts with a Soviet agent?

I was looking forward to Knapp's show last night, especially the second guest who has written a book on female crimes bosses.  While both guests had interesting topics to discuss, neither of them had any radio presence or public speaking skills.  Both of them kept saying "you know," and the first guy (science fiction writer) had lot of "ahs" and "ums." Knapp sounded a bit frustrated at times.  I hope both guests write better than they speak in an interview.

I tried to call in for tonight's "gang stalking" guest.

On hold for ages, disconnected as the show had 15 minutes left.

The wanted the whack-a-doodle calls. Mine was more volunteer monitoring organized by a jealous spouse.
Eh, nevermind...

Good show from Knapp on the life and mysterious death of Amy Eskridge. No mention of Dr. Ning Li who I thought might be connected. No coincidences as Noory might say.

Brendan from Austin Texas is a regular caller. Does anyone happen to recall his YT channel. He has mentioned it several times in the past.

The last caller for the first segment raised an interesting bit on Mark Twain.
