I agree. It is a power chord psychedelic funeral dirge. Synchronized guitar playing pallbearers - while Peter Criss testifies / eulogizes from tribal drums. Darkness was on the city, and candles from a setting in a Dickens novel highlights a premonition of gloom. You can easily picture them carrying a coffin down Bourban Street, each kabuki KISS face evoking Papa Legba.

For a moment, it has the feel of "the old world."
Like or dislike, it surely is interesting theater.
But that's just me. I've been known to see symbolism and archetypes that were not intended.
