Goodbye LuAnne platter. :sniff:

We lost our Luby's awhile ago and our Fuddruckers closed a few months ago.

Where are all the old people going to eat?

They can order the dog food from Amazon and have it delivered directly to their home...

🙄🙄🙄
Eh, nevermind...

Meanwhile, a few blocks away is the outdoor coffee shop across the street from Cal that I love going to.

It recently re-opened, although with half the tables removed.  After getting coffee, despite the signs and the county rules, probably 90% of the patrons sitting down take their masks off.  I haven't heard anyone say a word about it - other customers, employees, people walking by, nobody.  Police and firemen stop by on breaks sometimes, and not a peep out of them either.

At a breakfast place this morning there was a woman who was pulling her mask from her face as she shoveled loads of food in, then she'd let go - chew, and swallow; repeat. Perhaps she chewed with her mouth open and spared us all with the mask.

Or had, um, uneven teeth, and has trouble keeping food from getting stuck in them.

Was she talking a lot?

One of my little ferals had her first visit to he vet since kittenhood the other day.  Between the cat carrier and meds twice a day, poor thing has been looking over her shoulder all day.  Spooked cat.

If one had to have a cat I'd hope it would be a black cat.
There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

Men! I just had this conversation with my husband:
me: I'm getting bored with my hair. I'm thinking of putting a bunch of layers in it. What do you think?
him: (looking very serious and straight in my eye) Will you be able to put it up into a ponytail?
me: (thinking what? That's random) Well, ya...but not like a sleek ponytail.
him: Don't do it.
me: We're not 25 anymore. I don't think the ponytail is the make it or break it here.
him: It should be.
me:  ::)

What!?! Oh nooo.....that would never fly.  :-\
He learned loooong ago to give input because I might get a bee in my bonnet and come home with an electric purple pixie cut and an eyebrow piercing.
I've only done that once....okay, maybe twice.  ;D
