I thought I had cool toys in the 70's but these are great.  Kids nowadays, at least I think, don't "play guns" or army anymore but my friends and I would've had a blast back in the day.  (no pun intended)

Back when the only busybodies were the little old ladies that lived down the block.

Now snowflakes come in all ages - many exactly alike..

It would never happen. Kids don't even play outside these days.

Friend of my wife has five kids who were all playing together IN THEIR OWN DRIVEWAY of their affluent Calgary home when several neighbors called the cops     These houses are all about 60 ft from each other so it's not like they were trespassing onto some old mans lawn.  Bad playtime!!!

They were playing Cowboys and First Nations Bottom Feeders in the driveway with a socialist lemonade stand as a front. The cops got confused and shot their own penises off    Luckily, Linda the German Shepard was there with cabbage rolls.

...@anniem I don't know what happened. Most likely the POLICE showed up and realized how foolish the call was and hopefully they shot the complaining lifeless cunts. Orrr the cops did their job and cuffed and beat Ben, his wife, and all five children with weighted  titanium clubs coated with pure Saskachewen salmon skin for that extra sting!!!

My brothers and I used to get into BB gun fights with kids who lived on the next street.  Night time of course, and you really couldn't see all that well if there wasn't a streetlight handy.  It was fun to blast away though, even if it was dark.  A BB hit me in the temple once.  Nobody ever lost an eye.

I had to dig a BB from a friends earlobe after a fight.  Good times.

The toys of the past sometimes surprise us with their capabilities.  The Mattel Agent Zero M Sonic Blaster 5530 from 1966 is one of those toys – it could fire compressed air that caused a deafening blast.   Deafening is an accurate word since it pumped out over 157db – above the level that is rated to do permanent damage to an adult’s hearing.

Yet another toy I would've loved.  I have a feeling it wouldn't last long because I'd get into some trouble.  I could see me aiming it at my grandmother and blowing her glasses off.  That would've been the end of the toy and the end of me as well.

It was cool as Hell.  I’d pump the thing up to the max and it would send out a ball of air you could feel probably 50 feet away.  I’d set up paper targets and then blow them away. 

Strangely enough, my hearing is still fine, even after blasting away and years of attending arena rock concerts.
