Dogface is gender neutral.

Japanese culture is that, in a tatami room at a hostess bar, the girls are on their knees while they serve/service the men (whose legs are extended into a heated hole in the floor, like a western seating position).

I should know better and not purchased the stuff that's wrapped for sale. @KSM   I typically get it at the counter where it's on ice and they wrap it in that fancy paper but there were too many people.  I was in no mood for people that day.  Come dinner time, as soon as I tore the plastic wrap off I almost puked.  The apathy expressed when I complained pissed me off.  I could've pressed it further but I said the hell with it.  I just won't go there anymore.

Ever heard of the "Seattle Freeze" ?  Apparently it's a real thing and it is not a weather condition.  The reports that I am getting back from her who has been there for two weeks now is that it is completely false and that they're really nice and inviting.  ..although they haven't met me yet. I'm sure I'll bring the freeze right outta them..

It was true in the late 80 into the 90s. California license plates were the equivalent of a bullseye. Even if it was obvious you had kids in the car.

I have one of those red hats. The Canadian version, that is. Same look, just different country. That might throw them for a loop until the original MAGA arrives.
