Earlier today while coming up the stairs from the parking garage with Vera I/we heard what sounded like someone horrifically abusing their dog. Very distressing and equally disturbing as it sounded like whomever was dragging a dog up the metal stairs. Must have caught the last few moments of it as I, with V, began to run up the several levels to catch up to whatever the fuck we were hearing but by the time we arrived on the 4th landing the potential culprit and poor puppy were on their floor and in a hall on the way to their suite. I think Vera started running up a second before I did.
