This makes no sense to me.  Either someone screwed the pooch, or there's more to this than anyone is letting on.  Keep an eye on the conspiracy sites.

@Uncle Duke and @Walks_At_Night

Did this guy intentionally crash his plane for notoriety or insurance money?

Are we having fun yet?

Ha! Yeah Rix and Gravity.  Multiple camera angles - check. Not it only has a parachute with him which is unusual, it is *on* him from the get go. Wonder how many Federal agencies he has crawling up his ass right now? FAA, NTSB, FBI for sure. Since he turned his plane into a cruise missle - throw in the Forest Service, the BLM and since maybe the plane killed a rare snail or some shit when it crashed, the Fish and Wildlife Service. No environmental impact statement filed before the stunt?  EPA would like a word too.

If he did it on purpose, he did so over an area that could have easily killed him.  The terrain wasn't conducive to either a safe parachute landing or survival/egress after landing.

Early in the video, did he show a baggy of pot?

Supposedly the ashes of a fallen comrade.

There was a fairly large gravel field that he could have guided his parachute to, or made an emergency landing on, so said a pilot who posted a rebuttal video on YouTube.  Also, that supposed bag of cremains must have contained only a slight portion of his friend's ashes.  A regular amount of cremated remains would have filled that baggie to bursting.

Or perhaps his friend was Tom Thumb?

Some cool film of the Kyushu J7W. I knew the thing existed as a prototype but have never seen film of it before.
