@ShayP

I sympathize...

I usually get the off brand variety. Lately got frustrated that the "sticky" pads were less than.

I went full blown against my deal-seeking nature and ordered a brick of Super Sticky brand name Post-it notes:

Purple
Paper
Post-it
Pads

They were delayed, but soon, very soon, it will appear as though I am living inside a deranged blotter paper sculpture organism.

Oh, yes. Then they will pay. Everything those people said about me. How they betrayed me so! At their fancy parties in their fancy clothes, complaining about their fancy cars. They will be sorry! They will know the true meaning of regret! I will have documented every incident on paper! Every transgression will have I! As they slurp their caviar and guzzle their champagne!

They ...... they ...... they ......

(cough)

I should have the pads by Thursday.

@Camazotz Automat

Oh, the off brand 'post-its' drove me nuts.  The bottom of my monitor lined with them.  The next day, one by one, they all started to fall like autumn leaves.  I'd put them back but my efforts were fruitless.  They fell again.  I stared at them scattered behind my keyboard with disgust, as if they were mocking me!

I too switched to the super sticky pads.  Traditional yellow.  However I did get a variety pack out of need and I found that I could not use the blue ones, nor the pink.  Now the purple you've procured is enticing.

Speaking of blotters.  Several years ago, a buddy of mine came over and witnessed my insanity.  Post-it notes, huge desk calendar filled with scribblings, random pieces of paper everywhere.  He joked me about it and made reference to a Mel Gibson movie but I do not remember what it was.

I didn't buy this THINK AGAIN brain eraser, but I'm considering it. The apothecary storage jar puts it over the top and would make good desk clutter. Another cool  product from Genuine Fred.  :D

That looks like a “must have.”  Is there an “abby-normal” edition?  ;)

Heh heh.  There is only about 99.999999% chance I order one.

I’m trying to find a reason not to order the set. And a bottle of alcohol to preserve the brain in the jar.  Oops, I’d better do some research.  I wouldn’t want to dissolve the brain.
Merry Christmas

Latest paper acquisition. It is for a brainstormed non profit writing project, creating material that will be distributed in a mysterious manner in fleshworld, with no digital copies making passage between "hands."

Think Lee Harvey Oswald passing out questionable leaflets around downtown Dallas - spy-like distribution of a product of a most singular nature, printed on an electrifying blue surface.

Will they be worth any $$$ someday?

Hard to say.

Objectively speaking, both statements seem possible:

1) Foolish to keep it. Wise to discard. Like an  innocuous greeting card.

2) Wise to keep it. Foolish to discard. Like a secret treasure location cipher presented on a business card.

(Personally speaking, each booklet will exhibit the properties of eternal art.)

I can't use erasers.  The smudge distracts me and I have to re-write.  I waste a lot of time on recycling rough drafts.  I know I don't need to since I'll be typing the final draft but, I'm just weird.  :-\

But you have the cleanest rough drafts in a 300+ mile radius.

While my notes and accompanying drawings look like manifestos of delirious hermits and/or journals of delirious hermit crabs.  ;D

That reminds me - I need to get to work on my manifesto.

Will this be the definitive work that forces Merrick to sign off on an indictment or just forces a messy FBI morning raid, catching you in your undies?

I ordered this simple yet clever device.  A 3" x  3"  Post It pad fits in the well.

The stencil behind it can be removed, placed flat in the well onto the pad, and then lines, check boxes, and check circles can be drawn.

Perfectly.

There was no Free Will involved. I had to get it.
