Some of these in this batch had a neat 3d effect.

I shot this on Thanksgiving, 2012 at Log Hill, Colorado.  This is my favorite of all the sunsets I've ever Photographed.

Nice work, Grantham.  We had a hibiscus tree like that, in front of our house, when I was a kid.

That's exceptionally red. Is that common up in the mountains?

It was from a pretty intense thunderstorm.  The setting sun was at an angle that everything was red.  You should have seen the real sunset.  This pic doesn't do it justice.

Family went when they were showing Close Encounter on the 40th anniversary. They don't let me in to the States so all I got was this hat. That's about as close as I'll ever get (until we get some major cross-border marihuana reforms anyways).

Q: What is the best way to post an inline picture in EllGab? I tried using the Insert Image button & using the URL of the picture. I guess it didn't work (although the preview worked for me). The attachment button works fine, but I see a lot of people posting inline images. Thanks for any help.

Excellent lighting. I was there at high noon, more or less, so all my photos ended up washed out.

Thanks man. Yeah high noon is hard to work with. Best bet is use a red filter, and acquire a b&w image. You end up with the blue skies that look almost black. Makes for a very cool “Ansel Adams” look.

These days that result can be achieved with the “noir” filter that’s built in to the iPhone. Or the “silvered” filter on the photoshop app.

That's got stunning color saturation!

That KOA campground there is a good one too.

Fuji Velvia 50 was the s back in the day. Professional color posstive (slide) film that popped. ISO 50, you pretty much had to use a tripod. But when shooting nature it was the best. The 6x7 film size makes for a huge image. Could easily yield 100mpxl image. Miss shooting film. It was a real challenge and much more rewarding than digital.

That's the right way, just make sure the [  ]'s are on each end and the last one contains the text "/img", minus my quotation marks.

I think your image requires a google login which none of us would have.

Way back when I did a lot of film with a Minolta SRT 101.

I miss the F stop and shutter speed settings and all the filters too.

Lame. Guess google photos isn't going to be the way to host images.
