Not so much binge watching, but I look at an episode while eating lunch. Jeopardy! And on Netflix of all places. Of course, there would be untold thousands of episodes to watch if they were all available. Whoever runs things over there at Netflix is showing the first episode of each year that Jeopardy was on the air. I believe the Alex Trebek version started back in 1984 and there he was, on 1984's first show, looking quite young and thin. A big, 1980's mustache planted on his face. Fast forward six years, or episodes, and Alex was wearing specs. Two more episodes and his hair was starting to turn gray. The overall set changes every so often as do the prizes given to the losers. (They didn't get to keep their money back then.) They offered a lot of passenger jet trips to various places and the jets get bigger and more powerful as the episodes roll by. I'm in the mid nineties so far, and third place players are being given Nintendo game sets to play "On those computers," as I heard Alex say in one episode. The game is still played the same way from 1984 to the present. I'm pleased to announce that I myself would still be a most successful player at the game. You see, when the board shows a particular 'answer' I hit the pause button on my remote and think about it for awhile. Then, if I have a correct 'question' I hit the play button and beat those other players to the punch. It works every time.
