There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

If I believed in hell I'd wish him well.

The helicopter treated him like a 19-year-old hotel employee!

The helicopter crash is a shame no matter who was on it.  I've already had enough of the "Kobe was a great human being" in the media.  Such bullshit.  Aside from his sexual assault years ago and being a snitch and a bitch, he was a self-entitled, privileged asshole before he even reached the NBA.  Anybody who paid the slightest bit of attention could surmise that.  People like him and that generation up 'til now are why I don't follow the NBA anymore.

Even the damn Governor of Pennsylvania is gushing about how the state was fortunate to have Kobe as one of it's own.  Fuck off.  ::)

But he was a "celebrity"!  The term celebrity is clearly not a measure of ones character. Although - was it ever?

Yesterday Lebron moved past Kobe in total points scored and is now third behind Kareem and The Mailman.

When I heard he died today, I thought ''he couldn't have possibly killed himself over it''

"Although I truly believe this encounter between us was consensual, I recognize now that she did not and does not view this incident the same way I did," Bryant said in a statement at the time. ::)

Oh no.  It's not a measure of character in most cases.  I just can't stand the excessive adulation for these people.  I mean...Iron Maiden is my favorite band but if Bruce Dickinson died I would think "Oh damn, that sucks."  That's it.  I just don't understand how people put so much stock in admiration of a celebrity to the point they treat them as saints.

Dude.  I had an employee years ago that tried to call out of work because the singer from Sublime died.  WTF?  I made him come in and all he did was cry about 30 minutes into his shift.  I mean...seriously!!!???
