Ego, that’s what did her in. I remember in one of her interviews that she was well compensated for her work and not recognizing the true origins of how this all came to be. A little podcast is how she described it, never realizing how much she would need that support down the road.
It is interesting to look back at when she first quit MITD and threw her fit that they wanted somebody to fill in for her when she was taking a week off at a time. She was exhibiting the exact same behavior then as she is now. Except she was getting paid decently to do the show. She wanted to be able to just show up when she wanted or did not want and they should just deal with it. But don't dare get a guest host as she craps on them and the audience. Now she is doing the same thing. She obviously does not like doing the show. This is not her thing. But she will insist, in several different stories, that she has wanted to be a radio show host since she was a toddler.
