I can't get this song out of my head and it's not making my insomnia any better. I try to listen to Vivaldi, which is a usual go-to for me when I need to relax, but it doesn't rinse this out of my mind. Damnit

Thanks for sharing, sean. It is one I was not aware of and enjoyed. Can't go wrong with Fleetwood Mac!

I found this nice cover I thought to share

Geddy Lee's family story...

Actually, that's the original Atlanta Rhythm Section record sped up from 33â…“ to 45 RPM.  Steven Gaines (I think) was the singer.  Sped up, sounds like Stevie Nicks!

Wild...

Guess I don't know what a cover is then. I always thought a "cover" of a song was when anyone but the original artist performs the work. Hmmm...up until now I always thought that  Fleetwood was the original. interesting.  Anyway, thanks for sharing. It's time to start my day so I'll have to give that interview a listen sometime later

I think the person who uploaded it titled at that just to get more attention.

It is amazing though. A guy from the south sped up sounds like damn, I don't know where Stevie Nicks is from... Arizona? (I try not to Google shit too much, my brain is dying here)

I have to admit I had to Google what you were talking about because I thought you were fucking with me lol. Pretty sure, that in any case, Fleetwood Mac did the original, but i don't know if that's really the guy from Gov't Mule or not. It sounds like him to me. If it's not, maybe the original poster just got things confused? Now I'll have to look up Atlanta Rhythm Section. Perhaps I should have looked into it more before posting but there's always tomorrow and I'm living in the moment. Also, time.

Thanks for the interview with the guy from Rush you posted 10x

Thanks, man. I probably wouldn't have been introduced (or introduced myself) to this song had you not posted/uploaded/whatever. I was off of GNR after the second Illusions...just not a fan of punk, although it seems, now that I think about it, that there are other punk-inspired rock songs that I like. Nothing by Greenday. Can't seem to recall exactly what right now lol.

I just discovered this group today. In fact, watching the video, I thought it was faked as in a new band making a video look old.

Turns out this family band was real. They were doing the chitlin circuit stuff that influenced players like Jimi Hendrix. They were from Indonesia.

Eh, nevermind...
