Laws Based On Age

There's a campaign to lower the voting age to 16. Today, I heard that our brains don't become "adult brains" until we're 30, give or take. We have a patchwork of laws based on age (drinking, smoking, consent, driving) across the country, and some of them vary from state to state. Should there be one age for all of it, or should things be based on activities (maturity)?

I bought a Canon A1 camera when they first came out back in the late 70’s. After awhile I had so many lenses I stuck with Canon when the EOS line came out. Now I find myself again having too many lenses to switch. I kinda wish I had started with Nikon but it is what it is.

What kind of camera do you use?

The mirror on my A1 started sticking intermittently and the power on indicator LED stopped working so I bought an Canon Elan 7 body to replace it. I don’t think I have even loaded a roll of film into it but I have it nonetheless.

Both of my EOS camera use CF cards instead of SD cards and the LCD screen on the back cannot he used to compose the picture. Only to view pictures you already took. Now that my eyesight is failing in my good eye not sure which I would prefer. Probably a good lcd or olds screen.

I may buy a newer body. For the camera. Not for me.

I’ve built out kits for my daughter and my niece. Not sure which two I have left. Probably my original rebel and an xTi.

That's a novel idea, but we both know that nothing like that will ever happen. Look at the hysteria over voter ID to see how such a law would cause people to lose their minds.

It could be any day now. They want to end the Electoral College and have Supreme Court terms, so they may call for co-presidents up the road too.
