Can someone explain the number beside "profile" along the top of the page? On the drop down it then shows "mentions."

It is a way to get your attention in a post. @Uncle Duke will trigger that function. If you look at 'Mentions' you should see a list where someone has poked you with a stick. It's nice.

Doing good! Hope you and yours are ok as well.
It's not hot as fire yet so my lawn is looking like yours but July and August are not far off. I'm also watching on of my favorite movies as I'm a fan of demented obsession.

Not for about three weeks will my lawns look like "my lawns" Vera pee spots accumilate over the winter as the snow cover keeps her from knowing which part of the back she can do her stuff on. I go through this every spring.
Patrick Stewart played Ahab in the A&E version of Moby Dick back in the 2000's. He was great. The whale at the end with him harpooned to it as both went down... both still alive and both about to die together.
Going to have to dig that dvd set out and rip it for my digital files - phone, tablet and such.

Could you please post here one more time? Anything will do. I am tired of seeing last post by KSM in this section.
It reminds me of when I had my board and another member (male ::) ) started a thread entitled, PORN. Not my cup of tea but.. ok fine. One female member (Abooja) chimed in about how she was struggling to hook up the VR software in time for her husbands arrival from a work related road-trip. Her post hung there for weeks until she posted "Could someone else please post something here so that I am not left twisting in the breeze day after day?"
...later that day the author of said thread replied with a "LOL" and everybody smiled as Abooja was free and clear of any smut smear she had marred herself with. Sort off.. the damage was done but she seemed to feel better. :-\
