Oh, my.  The fun and joy I have missed by being so restrained for so long, is unacceptable.
My bad.   My bad indeed. :-[
@StarrMountain, you can start playing at any time.  I leave her question up for 24 hours, so check back daily and see if you can guess what Mrs. Elizabeth Thompson will be saying.  Good luck!

J.M.   Today is your lucky day as Momma T. has the solution to your old man's grubby paws.  He will use one of these two fine products:
Gre-solvent or Mione to remove most of the oil and grime. It probably advisable to use these with a pail and rag outdoors.

They should remove most of the mess but to clean a little bit finer, use Lava soap and a nail brush.

Have him file the rough stuff and then use pig grease to smooth it out.  Tell him to wear gloves from now on.

J.M.--Mix a cup of oatmeal and a cup of milk together until it turns into a paste, then rub it on your hands to remove dirt and stains. The mixture will also help soothe dry, cracked skin.

Glycerin!  Well, I don't think any of us thought that Mrs. Thompson would be taking a pro-active approach in regards to Hubby's problem.  Regardless, as a result of her one word answer to the problem, everyone missed this one.  But rather than write up a long list of names with zeros behind them, Mrs. T has ordered me to offer yet another quiz, so no waiting around until the next day.  Don't miss this one, it will be worth three points.

Mrs. Thompson deserves the zero. She didn’t answer the question asked.

1. I have seen a chinchilla in a swimming pool so yes, you can wash it.

2. Large hat, a small hat would make you look like a pumpkin,.

3. Yes, mesh bags are going to be all the rage straight through the 20's
