That's one of my fave songs, and I bet that Dick Dale and Link Wray are jamming now. Let's hope that Duane Eddy beats the "bad things come in threes" pattern.

+1

In Duane's place, I nominate Don Henley.
Eh, nevermind...

I have always liked 60s surf music.  Good old Dick.  He had a style all his own.  (And a damn good voice, I've always thought.)

There must be a story there. I think that there's a song there too.

I'm not sure about that. Glen Frey and Joe Walsh are still with us, and I'm afraid to read your next reply.  ;)

Glenn Frey died already.  Him and Don Henley are turds for firing Don Felder. Joe Walsh puts up with it because he's just an employee and likes the money...

Eh, nevermind...

The great bass trombonist Phil Teele died. He was first call with the LA local and played on many movie scores - The Godfather, Patton,  the Planet of the Apes movies, Die Hard 1&2, many of the Star Trek movies, Men in Black, Mars Attacks, and many, many more. He also played in jazz big bands and recorded tracks that were more experimental, such as Low and Outside.

Merry Christmas

I forgot if I knew. Replace one Don with the other Don if the other Don is still with us.

@StarrMountain, did you ever meet Dick Dale, like maybe when you were in the Beach Party movie?

I couldn't tell you. Maybe he played in an Eagles cover band.

NOW WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO BUY MY VACUUM CLEANER BAGS? - My grandmother... if this was 1979.
This could be a pivotal time to switch to bagless…  Bissel has a great 7 pound one for $40 at Walmart if you have small enough hands to re-insert the plastic cup.  Motorized brush & everything.  Going strong over a year.  But don't buy the 14 pound one because it has issues.
