RIP Ginger Baker.

In the white room with black curtains near the station
Bam, bam, bam, crash through an amplifier even.
Merry Christmas

I don’t think that’s kinescope. It looks more like quad videotape. The early television camera tubes didn’t have a very large contrast range.

In this modern world of auto tune and electronics, why worry about singing ability? Go for tits and ass, which can also be enhanced.

I didn't think of that, maybe because I associate streaks with the burn.  I wonder if the show's costumers thought about that knowing what the on screen effect was....

PS, give me Ms. Carroll over any new whore any day...
Eh, nevermind...

I loved the MNE article.

Great quotes... A lot of accuracy! (In his evaluations, he had no filters.)
Eh, nevermind...

Rick Beato's take on the aging of rock stars... and modern virtuosos...

Nothing great, but a good time killer.

Eh, nevermind...

Rip Torn.

Apparently he had that name since he was a kid, it's not just a stage name!  I don't know if it was a nickname as a kid or a birth name but there were other "Rip"s in his family. Hahaha.

Eh, nevermind...

I thought I was under the Mandela effect!

It wasn't Rip Torn, it was Rip Taylor...  The comedian.
Eh, nevermind...

I heard about the Cream drummer on the radio today.    :(
We also lost an original ' Mickey Mouse Club ' member, too.

Actually Dennis' body was found buried under a pile of clothes and blankets in a room of his house.  There was a live in handyman who did the deed and he was going to be brought to trial but has since been declared unfit for trial.
