Mr Fidget on bellgab

@amShaz on Twitter

I probably saw the name, but it didn't mean anything to me at the time.  I didn't start listening to Coast till about 2003, by which time Noory was the regular host.  I wonder if he called in to Midnight in the Desert.

I don’t know about MITD or Snoory. I vaguely remember him speaking with Art Bell years after he failed to fill all the orders he received for fidgets. It might have been on Dark Matter.

There’s at least one episode of the gabcast where he was a co-host.
Are we having fun yet?

He was on twice with MV. That I know for sure. Memory fails on this one - was he unable to fill orders due to such overwhelming demand or was he just cash-grabbing and taking his sweet ol' time?

NEVER liked Fidget. Even now when listening to old C2C randomly I'll hit the next button any time he suddenly appears.

Yes.  I never understood Art’s fascination, either.

I chalk it down to Art's love for the idea of 'Time Travel'    Thing is, as soon as Fidget explained what exactly his toy does/is Art should have passed on the guy right there.

I'll take a completely full of shit Mel Waters character any day over that garbage. At least the idea of a mysterious hole in the ground sounds good.  (until they take it too far and Mel is finding holes on Mars)  ::)

There was also another caller in the 90s with Art Bell, Steven Gibbs, that built small "time machines"
He sent Art one of his prototypes and Art took a photo with it.
However Art never had the courage to try the device out since you had to plug it into a power outlet!

Remember that show well. I want to say.. January 97. ?    I don't trust a time machine that does not completely encase me. At the very least it needs a seat!

So, I woke up to this man going about his interview with Art and talking about cancer. On U7Radio...

He gave out a phone number although he doesn't seem to be associated with the business any longer, if it's even open, 888-50-VIRUS... A Las Vegas based medical thing...

Then I found this on Dr. Leonard G. Horowitz.

If it's too small on your screen, he sued Pfizer and others...

You'd think any competent lawyer would have known the guy's case was unwinnable.  I'm guessing he had an attorney who was hoping Pfizer would view the action as a nuisance suit and settle out of court for a nominal amount, but with enough within his/her contingency fee to cover the legal preperation.

The order says it was a pro se action.  That means he filed it himself without a lawyer.
Merry Christmas
