Here is an alternative theory for C. L. Turnage.

Cynthia Lou Flippen was born 3 Oct 1957 in Lamar, Texas to Ralph Flippen and Marjorie Dewberry.
Cynthia was married to Goodarz Alipour 1974-1978, James Turnage 1984-1997, Norman Wootan 1997-2007, Joel Hamill 2010-2011 and may now be living in Arlington, Texas with current spouse Robert Scott Adolph.

With her looks and subject of interest in Texas... 4 husbands... Yep.
Eh, nevermind...

Who was the lady writing for Star Trek? D.L. Fontaine?  I don't remember if she chose to use her initials or if Gene Roddenberry told her to use the initials to hide her gender in the Sci-Fi community. I don't remember the name, Fontaine seemed right.
Eh, nevermind...

That was D. C. Fontana who initially was Roddenberrys secretary then  started rewrites of star trek scripts.
Her first name was Dorothy.

Age looks right, middle initial is right, and Arlington is a D/FW suburb (where I once lived) so that seems reasonable.  Assuming the dates of her marriages are correct, however, she would have been Mrs.Wootan in 1998 when Bell interviewed her on C2C.  I suppose she could have kept her previous married name for professional purposes since she'd written her books under the Turnage name. If so, Mr Wootan must have been a very understanding, easy going individual....at least until 2007.

Yeah, I think you nailed it.  I found her on a database that shows her having once lived in Dawson, TX, as stated on the old MUFON affiliated site I found yesterday.  I'm not going to post a link here since it gives her current address and phone numbers.  It would seem she's lived an interesting life.

Well done.

I'd say that we've pretty much doxed her and Bob. Not intentional of course but there they are.

Not like anybody would give her a hard time, she certainly isn't a looker anymore and she seems like a very kind person...

Good lord, no. We're not evil.

Now I want to hear the shows she did, but the dates escape me. I know I have them in me files.
