Yeah  @PolkaDot . I made the extra effort and caught most of it live. It was really something. Damn. I should have thought to at least PM you so you could maybe listen. Who knew Mr. Wizard was going to make it that special

If only someone were able to listen to it on demand somewhere....

5 March 1995 episode of Dreamland. The president of Tesla talking about cold fusion. I'm wondering if this is the guy that Elon Musk kept on harassing until he sold the tradename/trademark to him.

Eh, nevermind...

Last week I listened to an episode of Dreamland where Bell and LMH were discussing the incoming Hale-Bopp comet. LMH went on and on about how some world famous scientist had proof there was a ship trailing the comet, and that he would be soon be making a historic announcement to that effect. As if I didn't know, anyone know if anything came of that?

Also, what was supposed to have been the difference in concept between C2C and Dreamland?  Once a week, closer to prime time broadcast hours, no open lines.....but how (or was is?) supposed to differ from C2C?

Art started his separate Sunday night show in the early 1990s back when c2c was only on M-F nights and was mostly open lines with a lot of political topics including regular callers like Doc Democrat and Charlie Liberal.
The Sunday night show was the first of Art's shows to concentrate on paranormal topics unlike c2c at that time.
First it was called "Area 2000" and later changed the name to "Dreamland" and featured the first half hour or so with Linda Howe's live reports and had a guest interview only, no open lines. Around 1998 or so after Art's first retirement, he gave Dreamland to Whitley Streiber and Art only did c2c after that.

After several years, Art started to get tired of politics and began introducing some of the paranormal guests and topics to his c2c shows too but he still did a lot of open lines without a guest.

Last night’s SIT showed Art’s greatness. The news about Dolly the cloned sheep had just come out and no, Art did not have Christian Wilde on to talk about it.  He had on an actual geneticist from Loyola University.

What? Aren't you going to give Ramona any credit? She probably found the guy and booked him.
😁😁😁

I wonder if he has been on since then.

I also found it interesting about the comments on giving more fire power to SWAT teams.  Hold it, was I listening to U7 radio?
Eh, nevermind...

Degrees of separation from the Beatles...

Beatles - Pete Best
Pete Best Four - Wayne Bickerton and Tony Waddington
Wayne Bickerton and Tony Waddington - Flirtations

I wish they had a greater output. I love Motown and BritPop
